Key responsibilities: The incumbent s primary responsibility will be to use his/her extensive and proven theoretical and practical bio-product development and formulation expertise and knowledge and be responsible for product development of products and formulations that meet market needs and consumer preferences. Other responsibilities are as follows: Develop innovative product solutions and product designs within cost quality and performance targets. Identify and commission appropriate product development and formulation equipment to support all bio-product development activities. Responsible to get product formulations produced for market acceptance studies. Other responsibilities are as follows: Configuration of bio-manufacturing facilities including Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) bioprocess equipment specifications and designs and process engineering calculations. Compilation of detailed technical plans including experimental programmes equipment modifications and scheduling and technology development targets and objectives. Formulation of process engineering concepts and solutions in conjunction with project managers/leaders and senior bioprocess engineer.
