Our client is a small manufacturing company in New Germany looking for an office administrator/ assistant / bookkeeper / PA. To summarize our client requires an all-rounder i.e. someone that is ready and willing to get stuck in where necessary be it with her usual office based tasks or be it that we need her to get in the car and drive across town to collect something from a supplier. The ideal candidate is someone who has enough initiative to improve things by developing better systems and ways of doing things in the office i.e. a systems-oriented person who will fit in with the company and get along with both management colleagues and customers. Responsibilities: 1) Book Keeping tasks: Proficiency with Pastel Express Generate Delivery notes Invoices and Month End statement Capture expenses and reconcile all on a monthly basis to bank balance 2) Order Planning: Keeping track of raw material stock levels and customer orders and generate raw material orders as necessary 3) General administrative paperwork such as: filing and printing production records maintaining and administrating staff employment records UIF etc paperwork associated with ISO9000 audits paperwork associated with BBBEE submissions etc. 4) General office assistant work such as screening emails following-up on projects or chasing up suppliers answering the phone possibly a bit of running around and purchasing office supplies etc. Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications relevant to the position applying for At least 5 years experience in a similar position Own transport Residing within easy driving distance from New Germany South African citizen If you have the required qualifications and experience to meet with the above vacancy requirements please email your CV without delay as the position is available immediately.
