Identifying and closing new business opportunities in the Business and Government IT Training Market which involve one or a combination of the following elements of the service offering: Computer Training Technical IT Training Soft Skills Training Corporate Venue Hire Learnerships Building and managing an individual pipeline of new business opportunities in a manner that will lead to the consistent achievement of monthly sales targets. Reporting required management information regarding individual pipelines in an accurate and timely manner Staying abreast of offering changes and relevant developments in the industry Combining a solid understanding of the customer s IT environment with the in depth product knowledge and industry awareness to offer corporate customers an integrated IT Training Solutions KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: At least one to three years experience in a Sales (external sales business-to-business) role accompanied by a proven track record of achievement against an individual sales target The ability to be persuasive telephonically and present a compelling reason for clients to do business with BPS Business Development/Sales experience in the IT training Industry or broader IT industry will be preferable An established network of contacts - preferable Strong networking ability and understanding of how to maximise social networking tools and technology Strong communication and writing skills Listening and questioning skills to influence challenging situations Excellent computing skills are essential Resilient and tenacious in character EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: Matric certificate or equivalent Sales training
