My Client a fast growing Retail/FMCG Company within the food sector is wishing to appoint competent and reliable Fruit and Vegetable Store Manager in Amanzimtoti. Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: Responsible for managing the overall functioning of the store and staff. Takes care of the day to day operations of the store and ensures maximum profitability of the store. Must ensure their store is meeting the targets and earning profits. Responsible for the smooth and effective functioning of the store. Responsible for maintaining the overall quality and image of the store. Sensibly display the merchandise so that it immediately catches the attention of the customers. Ensure that the store meets the expectations of the customers and lives up to its predefined image. Make sure the customers are satisfied safe and comfortable in the store and leave the store with a pleasant smile. Responsible for managing the assets of the store. The security and safety of the store is their responsibility. The store manager must ensure that sufficient inventory is available at the store to avoid being out of stock . Along with subordinates responsible for planning managing profit and loss collating daily sales as well as other necessary reports. Ensure that the store is free from pilferage MUST ensure: The store is kept clean Shelves and racks are properly stocked Waste control Orders are controlled Food Hygiene and Safety Quality control Stock is kept at the right place to attract the customers into the store and rotated frequently. Supply Chain Project Manager

Well established FMCG Company is urgently looking for Supply Chain Project Manager. The ideal candidate would be required to manage the delivery of outbound supply chain projects for the organization. Minimum Requirements: Relevant Bachelor s Degree or Supply chain diploma (e.g.: SAPIC s) Operational experience in a fully integrated Supply Chain (at least two years a management level) Operating experience in other areas of the supply chain would be a clear advantage e.g.: Customer Service Excellence Distribution Demand or Supply Planning Ability to manage cross-functional departments and cross-functional teams Fully computer literate with strong skills in spread sheets and SAP Responsibilities: Sales and Operations Planning: Demand Planning Business lead for the review of new demand planning software as well as the full implementation thereof Continue to review the demand planning process and lead integration of the consensus forecast through to finance in order to develop a business pack Supply Planning Work closely with the Supply Planning team to implement appropriate S&OP meetings to ensure that an agreed constrained supply plan is developed Provide support to the supply planning team in terms of S&OP knowledge appropriate resources (people systems and processes) Overall S&OP process: Develop a S&OP business pack and implement the S&OP operating calendar Ensure all business processes are aligned to the S&OP process and work towards eliminating duplicated efforts (particularly in the budgeting process) Master Data: Lead the business project to prepare and align the master data to enable IT systems to be rolled out for both demand planning and supply planning processes Ensure appropriate business processes are agreed and implemented to maintain master data credibility. Distribution Requirements Planning: Assist in the rollout and training of the new Distribution Requirements Planning process Assess and scope the business reporting and measurements required Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that customer service excellence is fully understood and appropriately trained Service Levels: Continue to lead the business to a better understanding of service levels what they mean how to use them why are they important. Train and develop the business in terms of service levels reporting Integral member of the project team to design and implement the on time element for the service level measurement. Look for opportunities to expand service level reporting to to include loss tree analysis on time delivery and any other service level measures which add value to the business. Resolutions of ad hoc service level queries and requests including BW reporting graphs analysis etc. IT Systems and Integration Projects: Either as an integral member or as the project leader deliver business projects that require new IT technology to be rolled out within the Outbound Supply Chain team (eg: Advanced Planning System - Demand Planning SAP) Financial Management Implements and encourages cost cutting initiatives within the team where these do not impact on long term business sustainability. Work with the Supply Chain Planning Manager to allocate spends to areas of high priority. Strategic Input Contribute to functional Strategy into Action: Work in conjunction with the Senior Managers in the Outbound Supply Chain Team to co-create the national strategy based on a year s view of requirements. Facilitates integrated supply chain delivery by managing relationships and interaction with cross functional regional teams. Ensures the agreed SIA is implemented through team targets and that these targets align cross functionally within area of responsibility. Financial Accountant

An established company seeks a Financial Accountant for a period of 8 months.To manage the taxation asset and treasury function and assist with the monthly financial reporting requirements. Responsibilities: Prepare the monthly and annual financial reporting requirements. Perform comparative analysis of results to budget forecast and last year to test accuracy and reasonableness. Prepare the quarterly forecast packs. Prepare the annual budget packs. Calculate and ensure reasonableness of regional depreciation budgets and forecasts. Conduct the quarterly review monthly GL reconciliations including fixed assets and ensure prompt resolution of queries and reconciliation items. Assist with IFRS and Company Act compliance in the annual reporting. Drive compliance with IFRS Income Tax Act and RPM. Complete the annual tax returns for South Africa and Namibia and oversee the tax audit review process. Review and analyse data required for the various tax schedules on a monthly basis to determine whether expenses are allowable or not for tax purposes. Ensure continuous tax compliance reviews by conducting internal checks. Reconcile and follow up on all Ministry of Finance accounts and queries (Vat Income Tax and Import Tax). Review and sign off capital expenditure schedule (RD34). Review and sign off the asset reconciliation of the GL and fixed asset register on a monthly basis. Oversee the review process of creditors reconciliations and monthly KPI ageing. Perform EFT verification and act as a cheque signatory (as back up for the Commercial Officer). Supervise and develop staff within the context of the Labour Relations Act Employment Equity Act Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Skills Development Act. Minimum Requirements Relevant degree or equivalent 3 year diploma 2-5 years experience in project management relating to technology and business and in a logistics FMCG or manufacturing environment including materials bills of material labour routing/standards and ERP/MRP systems (SAP) Experience as a SAP business applications analyst or developer involving SD FI MM WM would be an advantage Key responsibilities Master Data Entry Management Assure the integrity of master data by checking and validating it on a continual basis. Ensure accuracy completeness timeliness and management of product master data collection through direct communication with customers principals and suppliers. Implement and maintain the standards for master data collection to ensure that documentation is completed accurately with information required to create the product master. Maintain relationships with all stakeholders utilising master data within the broader information management system. Submit the information to the line manager for verification. Establish a network of master data representatives across the various business functions to take responsibility for maintaining various master data elements within their control and in line with overall master data standards and guidelines. Ensure the consistency and integrity of master data elements that exist in multiple information systems or documents. Proactively coordinate the collaboration of business requirements/IT requirements/information across various functions to find the most effective and efficient solutions to serve both internal and external customers.
