Routine responsibilities and duties involve the use of various procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standards of practice requiring the use of good judgment. Must work with a high degree of accuracy. DUTIES STANDARDS Administrative Cost control and cost reduction shorts in the form of Opex projects will contribute largely to overall cost savings. All necessary paperwork regarding the employment of people and daily casuals. Accurate completion of the shift reports for feedback to management. ü Involvement in all Opex projects in Machining Dept and input regarding process engineering relating to Opex projects. Operational Identification of problems and the resolution of these problems. Issues such as the following will apply. Change over time reduction; overall quality of wheels entering the Paint Plant; capacity of products; output of all machines; etc. Work performance measurement i.e. hourly scores of all processes whether it be turning balancing reworks etc. Supervisory People development whether on the job training or external training requirements. Have the responsibility and authority for monitoring the product and process quality and to stop when not conforming. Given the responsibility and authority for production equipment and environment and to stop when not conforming. Enforcing discipline for not adherence to the process or company procedures. HSE Quality Ensure that housekeeping / safety standards are maintained by employees thus creating a more controlled environment for material handling and creating a quality culture on the shop floor by having a tidy environment.
