We are a dedicated husband and wife team who promise to look after your business. Our Senior Executive - Goert van Rheede van Oudtshoorn (you can call him Van) has over 30 years experience in the accounting practice. He was born in Hout Bay in the Cape Province and completed his studies at the University of Cape Town. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant he stayed on at a Public Auditing firm where he completed his Articles and later became a partner. He left Public Practice and entered Commerce and gained experience in various fields ranging from the Wholesale and Liquor trade to Engineering Construction and Manufacturing. For the last 12 years he was senior executive of the Corporate Finance department of the South African division of an International company of Consulting Engineers.
He decided to retire from the company at the end of December 2008 and has started MarVan Enterprises Accounting and Tax Services. He is a registered member of SAICA (The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants). Mariana, his partner has over 30 years experience in accounting and bookkeeping and is also a registered Tax Practitioner. |
