YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: 1. HR Delivery Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers within the District Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes at the DoH sites Ensure effective HR Administration within the District Assist in the recruitment processes for DoH staff together with the Consortium partners Handle employee queries Act as liaison between the Provincial staff and HR Head Office 2. General Comply with all safety policies practices and procedures according to prescribed procedures and legislation Report all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human Resources Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals 3. Liase with External and Internal customers 1. Consult and liaise with all role players regarding change in area of an existing Province or District which may have an impact on the compliance of the HR Grant. 2. Serve as liaison between the Province / District and the HR Grant Consortium Members 3. Liaise with role players and informing them of any changes and challenges. The ideal candidate will have the following competencies: Ability conduct performance appraisals direct the allocation of resources set priorities and identify issues to be escalated manage customer requirements and expectations manage relationships with alliance partners/suppliers Experience conducting performance appraisals Knowledge maintaining personal records of employees regarding wages leave training etc. staffing numbers skills and needs to meet organisation s objectives the basic recruitment principles
