QR1751 LEAN Co-ordinator - Contract PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A 1 (ONE) YEAR CONTRACT POST Objectives: Facilitate the integration and streamlining of business processes by creating mentoring and coaching the virtual LEAN team in the business to successfully master the fundamentals and continuously improve within business functions and cross functionally Accountabilities and duties: Determine the LEAN virtual team Schedule monthly LEAN forums to facilitate & coordinate cross functional initiatives through to completion using the LEAN methodology Determine LEAN training requirements in our business and provide ongoing training mentoring and coaching to the virtual team to enable them to deliver improvements within their respective functions and cross functionally in our business. During these workshops perform Value Stream Mapping Root Cause Analysis and Solution determination. Clearly define an action plan to track and manage the implementation of the solutions and agreed metrics Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 4 years directly relevant work experience Ability to effectively apply sound project management methodologies Project Management and LEAN Certification SAP and systems knowledge (Advantage) Experience in process mapping Strong administrative skills Strategic leader with sound people management skills problem solving judgement and decision making skills Process and delivery orientation with high attention to detail Proficiency in Excel (Advanced) Ms Word (Intermediate); Powerpoint (Intermediate); Outlook and Internet.
