Ensure mechanical operations in designated areas are done according to Servest standards policies and procedures Major assets are to be monitored on a weekly basis and from this issue service order parts or arrange outsourced service providers to assist with the maintenance thereof Arrange all service instructions carry company orders and ensure invoices are processed at your branches Report all major concerns and repairs to the Technical Manager time-ously to be assessed and approved prior to repair Report damages caused through incidents and extended wear and tear Report status of major assets directly to the Technical Manager and copy line management Ensure assests have annual licenses and go through COF tests ahead of license issues Ensure close weekly communication with line management Maintain branch administration and provide a support function to the line manager Maintenance of equipment i.e. keeping track and reporting problems Duties include overhauling engines gearboxes clutches suspensions brakes hydraulics electrical repairs to all types of field equipment Excellent housekeeping and maintenance of workshop Provide weekly reports on all mechanical duties and kilometers Ad Hoc duties as required by management Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical field A technical qualification Experience on tractors earth-moving equipment (dozers bobcats tippers dumpsters turf equipment all LDV s etc.) Valid drivers license Excellent communication skills both verbally and written The ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels Ability to exchange ideas and reach consensus See tasks and projects through to completion Remain self motivated Strong admin and report writing skills Fault finding experience essential The ability to uphold confidential information and sensitive issues brought to the workshop Well organised attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
