Import Customer Service Agent

ADA Recruitment & HR Solutions Import Customer Service Agent Purpose of the job Action the import freight processes Key areas of responsibility Prepare list of all incoming vessels for the month and monitor vessel arrival Monitor vessel arrival / date berth / date complete and update system accordingly Ensure pre-call done 5 working days before vessel ETA and followed accordingly Ensure all redirections are handled within relevant deadlines and POL advised to create FCN s accordingly Ensure all invoices are sent to customers accurately and timeously Ensure all cheques are receipted timeously Ensure all release are done in accordance with company standards making sure that all relevant documentation and payment has been received in full Throughout vessel operations ensure that constant communication is maintained with customers clients suppliers and statutory authorities Advise BIM to arrange cartage for overstay containers one day before passing overstay Advise clients one day before when passing overstay Ensure all stopped boxes are moved according to Company standards and according to local authorities instructions Update computer system with discharge and release details Ensure LCT178 / N75 received on completion of discharge of vessel and distributed Process 3rd Party Invoices and Portnet billing Pass overstay for uncleared containers on the last free day of STG At New Pier the Navis system is updated with the Transporters which BIM provide to us.
