Only South African citizens who are suitably qualified live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy. The successful Technical Operator will be responsible for operating and management of all manufacturing equipment and must have experience in maintenance and fault finding of equipment. Requirements: Matric/ Grade 12 certificate Pneumatics and Festo parts experience is essential Minimum 3-5 years maintenance experience Must have experience in operating a large number of technical equipment in a production environment Maintenance and fault finding of technical equipment Ensure plant uptime is in line with best practices Ensure subordinates are trained developed and motivated to optimize performance Responsibility for ensuring plant policies and procedures comply with all generally accepted good engineering practices Compliance with all Safety Health and Environment statutory requirements Monitor team and cost performance providing problem analysis for equipment history and provide accurate reports of work execution Ability to operate power tools and equipment with precision Ability to read technical specifications Must be medically fit to work Good problem solving skills Must be a mature self-motivated and well-disciplined individual Must be a team player and work well with peers and Supervisors Candidates must reside in the Hartswater or surrounding area.
