Bambelela Resource Optimisation Marine Division Manager As Marine Division Manager responsible for managing Marine Division commercially and operationally. Key performance areas include: managing the marketing and business development activities of the Marine Division ensuring client satisfaction and performance excellence through the effective management of the Marine Division operations managing the profitability and financial performance of the Marine Division including reporting on actual versus budget variance commentary and debtors management overall ensuring that all vessels comply with all relevant legislation regulations and class/flag requirements ensuring the optimal utilisation and operational availability of all marine assets overseeing the planned maintenance system and conducting regular vessel condition and process/documentation audits providing marine support to Site/Project Managers as required The successful candidate will meet the following minimum criteria: Deck Officer/ Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency at least 5 to 8 years experience as a Senior Officer at sea or in a Technical/Marine Superintendent role ashore or in a similar marine commercial/ chartering role computer literacy including MS Excel and planned maintenance ability to monitor and set-up timescales and plans. Candidates must be willing and prepared to work extensive amounts of overtime as and when required and: be available around the clock telephonically be able to successfully adapt to changing demands and conditions be able to maintain effective work behaviour in the face of setbacks or pressure and deal with pressure calmly be able to organise and schedule events activities and resources.
