Exciting opportunity exists within the Maintenance and Engineering environment. Key Performance Outputs The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following: Management of cleaning related activities for all facilities. Compiling and management of the cleaning/soft services Budget. Project Management of Capex and Opex related projects in terms of cleaning/soft services. Adherence and execution of activities/works related to the cleaning/softservices scheduled plan. Investigation and implementation of water-saving techniques in terms of landscaping and irrigation. Implementation of recycling strategies. Emergency planning and management of services during unforeseen circumstances (e.g. Strike situations) Management & monitoring of contractors setting benchmarks and adherence to it. Infrastructure and contractor audits. Contracts management and compilation of SLA s Ensure compliance with all ACSA and government standards and legislation. Technical Skills and Experience Applicants must have a Grade 12 and a National Certificate in Facilities Management. A National Diploma in Facilities Management would serve as an advantage. Minimum of 5 to 8 year s experience within services such as cleaning pest control landscaping and waste management. Code 08 Drivers Licence. Good understanding of Service Level Agreements and or Contract Management. Budgeting and Financial Management is essential. Good understanding of Microsoft Applications. Competencies The ideal candidate will also possess the following competencies: -excellent interpersonal organizational and time management skills. -The candidate must be customer focused and have good listening skills. -The ideal candidate must show attention to detail and must be able to work independently.
