12 Month Contract Opportunity Brief overview of job The main functions of the job relate to corporate spatial data management quality assurance of corporate spatial data and corporate cadastral maintenance Department: Planning and Building Development Management Qualifications or Experience: NQF 4 with at least five years experience or any Degree/Diploma in Geo-Information Science or equivalent (relevant NQF and related experience Mandatory Requirements: Certificates of training or proficiency university degree diploma or practical 5 years GIS experience Responsibilities: Spatial data management; quality assurance of cadastral and sectional title data and data maintenance Key Accountabilities: Quality assurance and maintenance of corporate spatial data and corporate cadastral data (e.g. properties servitudes sectional title) Knowledge and Skills: Spatial data management; cadastral maintenance; GIS and Surveying knowledge and skills Project Environment: The project team consists of a consultancy team of approximately 20 persons and a cross departmental team of 8 staff members. The first phase and second phases of the Integrated Spatial Information Systems (ISIS) project has be completed end November 2011. The aim of the project is to include all property data into a central database from where it can be served to the business units across the property value chain of the City of Cape Town. Data clean up needs to be done in respect of this project.

My client is seeking for Desktop Support Technicians to render Desktop support and assist End users with any queries or problems related to their Office automation infrastructure including the associated hardware and software used to perform their daily functions.
