Qualifications & Experience: Must have a post-matric Diploma or Degree in computers or electronics/ Computer Software related qualifications such as a formal certificate in software testing - ISEB Foundation Certificate (an advantage). Formal 2/3 year IT diploma. Experience in custom software testing and using an automated test tool will be a definite advantage. 2 to 3 years applicable work experience. South African Citizenship is a key requirement for this position. Currently residing in the Pretoria area or willing to relocate. Personal attributes and skills required: Must be bilingual (English and Afrikaans). Spanish German and French will be an advantage. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Required to work overtime from time to time during project deadlines. Must be able to work in a disciplined environment. Have a good working knowledge of computers. Responsibilities: Generate test cases with inputs from developers. Liaison with developers to assist in the reproduction of defects. Enter test case scenarios into our requirements management tool software. Execute tests in a repeatable manner for verification when software component changes are made. Generate defect reports using our bug tracking software. Perform black box and white box testing. Perform regression testing. Measure test case progress. Perform integration testing. Perform system load testing. Installation of systems when required. Perform acceptance tests when required. International exposure at clients foreseen.
