JOB PURPOSE : The financial consultant will be responsible for the accounting reconciliation and payments of tax on Pension/living annuity/Endowment products KEY OUTCOMES The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Financial Consultant: Product and Tax Payments and reconciliation of PAYE Payments and reconciliation of Capital Gains Tax on Endowment products Payments and reconciliation of Income Tax on Endowment products Payments and reconciliation of Dividend Withholding Tax Liaise with internal Tax department SARS and third parties Ad-hoc issue of Retirement Annuity Contribution Certificates Assistance with monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting of products Ad-hoc accounting and tax tasks Improving of processes. Involvement with annual audits. Back up in terms of team accounting and tax tasks/outputs QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A financial related qualification with subjects in Accounting and Tax will be an added advantage At least 1 years accounting and/or tax experience within the financial services industry/ linked product industry in a similar role COMPETENCIES Attention to detail Problem-solving and analysis skills Client Service orientated Initiative Performance driven Ability to work under pressure Teamwork/ability to function independently Communication Skills Technical and Business Knowledge within financial services industry Computer Skills (MS Excel/Word and SAP/Easyfile as an advantage ONLY SOUTH AFRICAN EE CANDIDATES NEED APPLY or to apply for this vacancy.
