My client is looking to appoint a manager to Convert project specifications and statements
Well known international engineering project driven group requires the above to be responsible for: The overall direction management coordination implementation execution control and completion of specific EPC and EPCM projects on time and within budget ensuring consistency with company strategy commitments and goals. Leading multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve the desired outcome. Developing and managing the project budget schedule SHEQ plans and quality assurance. Developing relationships with clients suppliers subcontractors and other appropriate stakeholders. Producing monthly external en internal progress reports. Developing a project execution strategy and implementing the project accordingly. Applying project management principles (PMBOK). Identifying and managing project risks. Managing project change in a structured and controlled manner. Assembling and coordinating project staff. Providing direction and supporting to the project team. Conducting project evaluations and assessment of results. Minimum requirements for the role: A relevant tertiary qualification - BEng or BTech Engineering or equivalent is essential. Min 6 Years experience preferably in the water treatment plant industry in a system engineering or process environment will prove a definite advantage. Knowledge of national and international engineering regulations is essential as is previous experience in leading an engineering team. PMP certification is preferred. Applications must be assertive and persuasive and possess good leadership skills. The ability to work under pressure supported by good interpersonal and communication skills are further qualities sought. The ability to pay great attention to detail with exceptional planning and organizing skills the incumbent will in addition be an innovative creative and strategic thinker.
