The purpose of this position is to assist dental professionals engaged in performing general and/or specialist dentistry and other dental procedures. Applications are invited from suitable applicants who fulfil the following criteria: Qualifications/Requirements: Grade 12 Previous Experience in a Customer focused service environment will be advantageous. Computer proficiency (MS Office) Knowledge of the principles practices and procedures of general dentistry as applied to assisting a dentist in the treatment and care of patients. Knowledge of Dental terminology Basic understanding of the functioning of Dental Healthcare environment. KEY OUTPUTS: Quality customer service aligned with Intercare s Vision Mission and Values: Assist Practice Management with the implementation of processes to improve service delivery. Develop sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with dental professionals on a regular basis regarding service delivery and ways to improve. Respond and resolve internal and external queries effectively and in a courteous and professional manner Manage the provision of accurate and efficient information to all stakeholders. Ensure confidentiality of information at all times. Ensure that all communication and documentation are professional and courteous at all times. Champion efficiencies around Business processes Coordinate and manage patient flow in the dental waiting area. Manage the flow of patient files to and from professionals. Ensure that all patient information data are done accurately in order to ensure accurate accounts to funds and patients. Monitor the use of supplies and equipment Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment. Understand the usage of the practice email and intranet system. Attend Practice Meetings. Attend relevant training courses sponsored by the company Manage accuracy and integrity of data Ensure that the patient files are accurate with the following information Ensure information updates on Operating system is done accurately and timeously. Maintain an external communication evidence process.
