Matric / National diploma or relevant experience in a similar environment. MS Office 5 years experience in this field. Valid driver s license & PDP License Performance Managing the Drivers Messengers Courier Clerk and Mailroom Administration Clerk to ensure optimal service delivery. Sorting their work load in accordance with delivery routes. Recording all deliveries into electronic workbooks relating to drivers and routes in Excel format Daily / Weekly / Monthly. Issuing drivers with instructions and recording all deliveries in accordance with destination on an Excel spreadsheet both on dispatch and return. Reconciling all deliveries issued to each driver and ensuring the items not delivered are re-issued the next day together with the necessary acknowledgments. Communicating non-deliveries to the various departments on a daily basis. Managing the GL-Driver s diary and accepting appointments and relaying information to driver. Providing the CPL department with the necessary statistics and costs related to the GL-Driver. Providing all relevant monthly stats relating to the mail room in report format. Checking and confirming all deliveries issued to each driver are accounted for and the drivers returned to the recipient(s) at the end of each day. Checking serve and file and standard delivery documents delivered by drivers daily to ensure correct before returning the documents to the partners and staff. Ensuring drivers time and attendance records are correct and no time wastage occurs. Dealing with partner and staff queries relating to mail room deliveries. Monitoring and managing the vehicle log books to ensure drivers have completed logs accurately and completely at the end of each day. Delivering urgent documents should the need arise in the absence of a driver. Ensuring the franking machine is refilled electronically when required. Reporting faulty equipment to HelpDesk when necessary and following up to ensure repairs happen timeously. Monitoring and ensuring the Docex bags are sent and received to/from the branches on a daily basis. Assist with any reasonable request from the partners and/or Operations Manager as and when the need arises. Going the extra mile to ensure optimal service delivery is attained.
