Operations manager Paulshof R25000-R35000 PER MONTH Job Description: To manage the daily operations for gifting perfume and floral products. Main aim: Get the correct product to the correct client on the correct date at all times maintaining the highest standard of quality. Key responsibilities Stock management Implement and monitor current procedures for the movement and monitoring of stock Implement system to ensure that appropriate levels of stock are maintained Planning for high volume events (such as Valentine s Mother s Day etc) Warehousing management Storage of all components should be done in a way to maximize warehouse space and facilitate easy flow of traffic keeping in mind fire codes etc. Stock should be kept in such a way to ensure that components stays in a good condition Distribution management Ensure products are delivered timeously Manage courier relationships Ability to manage distribution for high volumes events Maintain high standard of customer service Systems and process management Ensure systems and processes are well documented and followed Evaluate current systems (activecom pastel excel) and recommend systems improvements Cost management Ensure cost of sales are in line with expectations Recommend and implement operational efficiencies Monthly reporting to financial team on margins Manage and motivate staff Using KPI-system performance manage all staff to achieve good work ethic Set achievable goals for each department Build strong teams in each department to achieve set goals Knowledge (Qualifications & Experience) Formal systems or process training 5 year experience in an operational environment dealing with systems stock and/or distribution Skills Well-developed people and leadership skills Good time management skills Confident and decisive Analytical skills Strong presentation skills written and oral Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong at design of operational systems and processes Consistent in the implementation of processes and systems Attention to detail Above-average computer skills especially Excel and Pastel Evolution A natural team player with a willingness to contribute and to learn Remuneration Negotiable based on skill and experience Please email cv to recruitment kontak.co.zaand quote kon922 in the subject line
