Reporting to the Sales Director: Europe you will: Ensure achievement of sales and profit plans and targets by effective implementation of sales/trading strategies Determine strategic direction for business areas and implement tactical plans to ensure yearly sales and profit objectives Drive innovative programmes designed to achieve new business growth market differentiation and securing a leadership position on an international perspective Drive operational efficiency of the business Ensure the development and continuous management and improvement of effective channels to the markets and customers Develop cooperative relationships with manufacturing units and export business units Foster outstanding customer service Ensure that customer/consumers demands are met and relevant business opportunities are explored and implemented Accurately forecast monthly sales requirements and advertising and promotions expenses Manage country contracts against agreed targets and periods Obtain monitor and analyse facts and trends of all product categories competitive products consumer usage and attitude studies and stay updated on all relevant trading situations Supervise and monitor business objectives advertising promotional plans and expenditure Supervise and approve all budgets under the functional responsibility areas.
