POSITION: Product Manager / bearings specialist (FAG) SALARY AND BENEFITS: R400 000 R280 000 (Incl. company car allowance) LOCATION: springs DETAILS: Based in the Training & Sales division reporting to the Area Manager the successful incumbent will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability and growth within various specialised fields by effectively selling the company s products training a number of sales agents and having thorough product knowledge about bearings MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum a completed S4 or N4 or N6 or T1 or T2 or T3 orT4 engineer qualification this must be a technical qualification Knowledge of bearings (Slewing Ring Bearings and Thin series bearings for mainly armaments wind generation and industry specific applications) is essential An equivalent of at least 3 years working experience in a technical sales position / product management / account management Sales experience with high technical and product application knowledge Computer Skills Microsoft office Planning and organisational skills; Sound interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work independently and show initiative; Future & forward thinker Knowledge of the following products will be beneficial: Transmission and conveyor chains Agricultural spare parts Gearboxes and geared motors Electric motors and frequency converter variable speed controls Couplings pulleys vee and wedge belts Oil seals conveyor belts industrial hoses Industrial adhesives hand cleaners and lubricants Concrete and cement SOME DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Product training to our sales branches and to customers. Assists users who may need application support in response to a logged call. When required test and distribute utility software to address logged calls Ensure the issuing / reviewing / approving of Change Requests related to the improvement of the operational effectiveness of the Gaming Applications Ensure the provision of expert resource/s on Project Based activities.
