Develop and implement information security awareness initiatives Act as the Lead on web application risk within SPF IT Oversee the security aspects in the SDLC: Requirements Establish security requirements Create quality gates Security and privacy risk assessment Design Establish design requirements Analyse attack surface Threat modelling Implementation Use approved tools Static analysis (e.g. CatNet FXCop JSLint) Verification Dynamic analysis (e.g. HP Fortify execution level analysis) Fuzz testing (e.g. MiniFuzz RegexFuzzer) Attack surface review Release Incident response plan Final security review Report regularly to the Information Security Governance Forum Maintain a log of any incidents and remedial recommendations and actions Investigate suspected and actual breaches of security and undertake remedial action Establish and maintain a register of data owners for sets of information and educate the data owners on their responsibilities (what is the data how is it used who has access to it). Conduct security research in keeping abreast of latest security issues Grade 12 An Appropriate IT Qualification (Diploma/Degree) will be a strong recommendation. Web Security Certification qualification essential Minimum 3 years previous experience as a Security Analyst Security Architect or equivalent Familiarity with standard network security technology solutions: e.g . firewall router VPN Experience with the use of standard security technology solutions and processes such as: access control vulnerability management anti-virus single sign on auditing encryption Experience in programming with .NET and/or Java and scripting languages. Systems analysis and design concepts Good knowledge of SQL Server 2005 (and later) and DB2 Good knowledge of the latest threats and mitigating actions Strong analytical & numerical ability Problem solving skills Conceptual thinker Good communication / interpersonal skills Action / results orientation Quality orientation Knowledge seeking / learning orientation Strong Interpersonal and people interaction skills
The UAT: Test Analyst must have the aptitude and capability to systematically test application functionality as part of the UAT test cycle and in preparation for Production Release assist with the preparation of test plans for any new development during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Qualifications and Experience: IT Qualification relevant tertiary degree or Diploma ISEB Foundation Certification in Software Testing (recommended) At least 3 - 4 years experience in software and web application testing Previous relevant experience in a test or technical support environment Special Knowledge & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to under business and functional requirements and to map them to test cases Experience with defect tracking process Good knowledge of software development lifecycle and defect resolution processes in particular Experience in User Acceptance Testing Ability to interact with databases via SQL Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and tenacity organized Dedicated hardworking and a self-starter be proactive use initiative Interact directly with developers to resolve test issues and application enhancements during development life cycle. Responsibilities: 1. Testing and Quality Assurance Documentation of UAT Test Scenarios Test Cases and Test Scripts Definition and preparation of Test Data Identification and analysis of defects Report to the Test Manager results test metrics etc Provide training/support to the Regional Test Representatives for all applications and services when required and during regional test cycles. The QA/Test Analyst will be required to execute a range of manual testing 2. Documentation Work with Test Manger Product Owner and teams to develop field trial/UAT testing plan as part of UAT deliverables Draft Daily field trial reports Contribute towards the development of field trial documentation Input to Weekly Management Summary documents 3. Team Work Work with business analysts subject matter experts and developers to thoroughly validate and Verify software systems against documented requirements. Work as part of a Global Test Capability Team to ensure project success and individually to continuously improve testing process.
