Experience Needed: They are a small company so all team members are expected to play multiple roles with primary and secondary responsibilities. You will be responsible for the full usability cycle analysis design creation testing and training. Through continuous communication with business on usability you will aim to translate information request into interfaces that meet business needs. You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of interface design standards and to ensure these are followed correctly. You will also be responsible to create a unique look and feel to all their products and to carry this design through to all their products. In addition you will create and maintain user interface process flow standards in terms of usability and ensure these are followed correctly. Continuous research both internal and external in terms of usability trends best practices and methodologies shall be carried out by the successful candidate. Also included in this role: Design and create new user interfaces for new products in compliance with new user interface standards. Redesign legacy interfaces in compliance with new user interface standards. Testing and sign off on the usability of all new user interfaces and final products before UAT. Usability areas (both external and internal): WEB (Silverlight and HTML) desktop applications (XAML) and mobile applications. Define user requirements create storyboard designs interface designs and help document user requirement specifications with system and business analysts by performing user interviews JAD sessions and industry research. Integrate and maintain usability competency centre as part of the SDLC. Actively seek ways to apply technologies to business processes to meet strategic goals through a conceptual understanding of technology and strong business insight and experience The successful candidate will liaise with team members to understand their and our clients needs and translate these into tangible and workable solutions offering the best of breed technology and practical solutions. They will also be expected to help the marketing team to create manage and maintain their corporate website.
