Designing implementing and maintaining source loads data structures and front end solutions. Key performance areas are designing and implementing the data warehouse fact and dimension loads data marts extracts to external systems OLAP cubes reports as well as the daily support and maintenance of the environment. Relevant tertiary qualification; 6 years within a formal BI environment. Designing and implementing source loads data structures and decision support solutions. DUTIES Management of System Engineer team. Working with Head of Infrastructure to achieve a single vision for the IT Services provided within Digital Outsource Services. Turning Vision and Direction into formal projects that are assigned to the relevant team members. Ensure team projects are run effectively and are properly planned and thought out to ensure minimum downtime and maximum performance from all systems. Where necessary assist team in growing their technical skills. Assist with design and implementation of key infrastructure projects. Proactively research new technologies. Work with other technology teams to turn ideas and challenges into infrastructure solutions and implement as required. Continuously seek to improve infrastructure questioning current design and processes.
