A well-known international speciality and commodity raw material manufacturing company requires the above to be responsible for: Managing senior key accounts working on large projects within the agricultural and related industries reporting into senior management locally as well as internationally. Performing business management and development functions with the aim of meeting and exceeding the South African operations long and short-term objectives. Ensuring the optimisation of stock levels. Monitoring profitability to ensure minimum GP s are met in line with the business unit s objectives. Formulating business level strategies for achieving growth year on year. Visiting the company s head office internationally regarding training seminars conferences presenting the African market business environment to European principles etc as designated by the Sales Director. Identifying potential customers and growth areas as well as conducting market analysis regarding pricing volume revenue GP and marketing activities. Developing new business and executing sales plans which are all project driven as well as maintaining existing customers / projects. Preparing managing and ensuring sales budgets forecasts and KPI s are achieved. Responsible for customer relationship management. Ensuring and managing stock availability for key accounts. Minimum requirements for the role: Tertiary qualification and previous sales experience within the raw material industry calling on Agricultural and related industries is essential. Previous experience having sold agricultural chemicals or related etc is preferred. Must be results and project driven as they will take ownership for this industry. Person must be able to work on his/her own and will report into the Managing Director. High degree of professionalism and conduct at all times.
