U-Go Selling a selling arm of SCORPION LEGAL PROTECTION is employing suitably qualified highly motivated self-driven game changers as Regional Sales Managers (RSM). PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Key purpose is to generate quality sales growth in the Region to lead the sales teams Develop Sustainable fit and proper workforce. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Duties/ Responsibilities Overall Management of sales managers consultants and agents to identify good selling spots for high quality sales of legal expenses insurance and funeral cover policies. Manage delivery of good quality sales in line with company budgets and quality standard. Drive on-going recruitment training and support of Sales Managers Consultants and agents in the field and maintain and steady sales force. Work closely with Marketing Administration to ensure sales Managers Consultants and Agents meet the company standards of operational excellence and comply with all regulations in line with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS). Actively identify sales growth areas and establish sales teams as may be appropriate. Management and control of regional administration vehicles and other resources Manage New Business Development Manage continuous sales force development Act as Public Liaison as per company guidelines Adhere to and apply the company s performance management Policy and Procedures. MINIMUM CRITERIA AND PRE-REQUISITE COMPETENCIES Education Matric or an equivalent qualification. Relevant Management specialist or professional qualifications will be an advantage Be fit and proper in terms of FAIS requirement Completed FSB Regulatory exam Experience At least 5 years selling experience especially emphasis on stop order premiums Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sales Manager supervising a team and/or teams of sales agents Experience of managing other managers will be an advantage A demonstrable ability to change the sales landscape A high level of credibility among Sales Agents fellow Managers and the ability to inspire them to follow him/her in a new role. A substantial track record of opening stop order facilities generating significant sales and maintaining relationship with managers /key contacts within those facilities. A proven track record of excellent performance-based earning power. Clear criminal record is of vital importance. Human Resources Management including regulating staffing levels and coaching in the field. Legal Advisor

The role covers the MEA region and assists on global matters where required. Assisting the legal and risk management team including the general manager in the drafting of customer facing contracts managing contract risk negotiating with internal management and customer management as well as coordinating the company s external legal advisors and advising the company on general legal issues. Duties: Preparation of both entry-level and complex contract documentation. Ensure all contracts are in line with business requirements and within all relevant commercial policies and are legally sound. Negotiation with customers and their legal advisors where necessary to conclude contracts escalating those issues beyond your mandate. Submission of contracts to customers via contract administration. Ensure the general manager is appraised of all matters likely to cause customer relation issues or liability issues or any medium to high risk issues. Ensuring all relevant administration is maintained secure filing and recording of proactive elements. Liaise with contract administration teams in all regions. Assisting in a variety of assigned legal projects. Act as counsel on basic issues involving company compliance with governmental and regulatory standards. Review legal documentation (in addition to contracts) and provide advice on appropriate action. Coordinate legal matters requiring external assistance. Assisting the group legal advisor where required with group legal matters. Such other administrative duties as may arise. Professional and well presented. Confidentiality: tact and discretion. Good interpersonal skills and particularly able to deal with senior management both internally and externally. Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
