Our client situated in Cape Town is looking for an experienced candidate to assist in managing the transformation process. Key responsibilities will include the following: Consolidation of internal B-BEE scorecard (quarterly) Ensure all divisional data is consolidated timeously to develop internal scorecard in all scorecard elements Consolidate accurate internal scorecard for inclusion in Transformation Forum and Board pack Keep records of consolidations with all information utilized to draft scorecard Assist with divisional internal audit process Schedule site visits to review internal audit files Develop audit reports and recommendations Assist in co-ordinating group and divisional Empowerdex audit (annually) Liaise with divisions and verification agency to ensure all deadlines are met Prepare files for verification agency Assist with development of annual gap analysis and implementation plans Assist with monitoring development Assist with implementation of relevant transformation projects Monthly and quarterly reporting Assisting the Communications Manager with various tasks i.e. completing monthly website updates updating the stakeholder database etc.
Education: B.Tech/B.Eng/B.Sc Electrical Engineering ECSA candidate/Pr Eng(wish) GCC(factories) Skills/Experience Required: Have a minimum of 10 years practical experience in all aspects of electrical reticulation which must include switching isolating and earthing of mains and apparatus operating at voltage levels ranging from 220 to 11 000 volts Job Description: The successful candidate s role will entail the management and administration of training within the deadlines and to the quality satisfaction of the client and related metering standards 1. Undertake responsibility for all training activities by planning and compiling of courses. 2. Responsible for the department s administrative functions by scheduling meetings creating deadlines special projects controlling budgets and time management. 3. Acceptance/rejection of applicants for training staff contractors and consultants by evaluating applications with respect to accepted pre-requisites to ensure compliance with agreed policies and code of practices. 4. Responsible for the control and maintenance of records and ensuring that efficient training administration occurs by overseeing data control.
