BI Developer Our Microsoft Gold Partner Client requires a BI Developer to join their team. SQL Server 2005/ 2008 Integration Services (SSIS) Analysis Services (SSAS) MDX Reporting Services (SSRS). A green field DWH build over new systems requirements and business processes. Qualifications: Matric Bcom/BSc Comp Sci/ Nat Diploma IT Requirements: The successful candidate will require strong SQL Server (ideally 2008) skills including SSIS SSRS and SSAS. You will require knowledge of Data Warehousing (DW) principles data modelling data marts etc. You will also need knowledge of Configuration Management and have the ability to undertake unit testing with good documentation skills. Candidates will be required to query the OLAP cubes using MDX. The purpose of the role is to develop amend and enhance the interim DW solution through multiple development lifecycles (using SQL Server). You will be required to re-write of ETL routines into manageable/scalable SSIS packages. The will be a possible transition onto full EDW solution project. Reference number for this position is JAAWLA which is a permanent position based in Johannesburg offering a salary of R 500k R 450k per annum cost to company negotiable on experience.
