Duties Include: Operational Systems and Processes: Design operational systems and practices in each operations department to ensure alignment with industry standards and achievement of objectives Implement and manage effective systems and practices to ensure the achievement of operational productivity and efficiency targets Revise and adapt systems and practices based on operational needs and priorities Ensuring alignment between the operations and the divisional support functions through the design implementation and effective management of systems and practices governing these relationships Preparation of business requirement specification that will support any new system or functional requirement within various departments Operations Efficiency and Productivity Ensure the effective and productive application of human resources and continuous performance improvement within the division Research and propose improvements in the operations division (workplace equipment tools ) to support productivity and a positive work environment Manage the effective use and application of workplace resources and tools Financial Management Setting and ensuring management controls and appropriate compliance and governance practices exist Responsibility for the development service level and KPI delivery of the Operations Conduct budgeting and forecasting processes for operations division in accordance with financial management policies and practices Review and authorise payments related to the operations department in line with budgets and forecasts and in alignment with approved levels of authority in the company Operations Performance Management and Reporting: Develop monitoring and reporting templates in collaboration with Business Intelligence to ensure accurate measurement of and reporting on operations performance Analyse and interpret operations performance information and ensure daily weekly and monthly monitoring of relevant performance metrics Review and consider operations reports and update targets where needed and initiate appropriate actions Stakeholder Relationship Building: Building relationships with both external stakeholders (suppliers contractors etc.) as well as internal stakeholders Team Leadership and People Management: Provide visible and clear leadership to operations promoting a culture of high performance and customer focus Provide management to the functional managers with the emphasis on building a cohesive and well-motivated team Provide a robust training and coaching regime designed at maximise individual performance Implement and maintain a operations culture in alignment with company values and in support of the client profile of the business Design implement and monitor reward and recognition programmes in support of the operations division s culture Maintain a department organizational structure capacity (knowledge and skill) and career pathing/succession plans to meet applicable company strategies and operational targets Implement and maintain performance management policy and procedures (inclusive of maintaining discipline in accordance with company policy and procedures) Requirements: 3 yrs experience within a contact centre environment / operations environment within a senior management capacity (Managing Call Centre Managers) Matric essential Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous What to include: Detailed cv (Please include month and year employed) Required salary Motivational letter Email your detailed CV to: Email your cv to cv@odwyerpersonnel.co.za with ref: Snr001 Please note only Candidates that meet the required minimum will be considered coupled with information requested above.
