Duties and responsibilities include but NOT limited to: Work with the Chief Accountant to ensure accounts are maintained in accordance with statutory and tax regulations and company policy. Assist in general accounting and accounts payable processes and deliverables. Assist in the calculation & processing of general and monthly journals to the general ledger. Assist in the Finance monthly close process & reporting cycle. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations - including the collation of a monthly reference file. Assist in the maintenance and development of Finance internal controls & processes. Manage the annual and interim audit processes. Contribute to the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements. Assist in the preparation of the annual income tax return. Assist in completion and submission of VAT returns Other ad hoc assistance to the Chief Accountant and general Finance department as requested.
