Large Hospital Group is seeking a Pharmacy Administrator. To assist the Pharmacy manager in leading the administrative aspects of the Pharmacy; managing daily activities and longer term strategic focus areas to provide excellent service delivery operational efficiencies and operational growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Pharmacy Manager with the management of pharmacy financials while understanding the financial fundamentals of the hospital business Effective management and audit compliance of the stock system policies and procedures relating to ethical surgical and third party stock Ensure operational efficiency including the management of operational activities Daily and monthly admin duties including: o Management reports o Pharmacy rosters o Hands-on administration o Daily purchasing o Preparation of all aspects of stocktaking and cyclical stock counts o Capturing and verifying stock take data o Attending meetings Engaging an enthusiastic team who are passionate about service delivery Managing CPE aspects of the business QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Ideally a B.Com degree or relevant equivalent qualification Financial knowledge and understanding Experience in Pharmacy or Hospital environment would be an advantage NON-MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES Managing work: Managing ones time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently. Building Customer Loyalty: Effectively meeting customer needs building productive customer relationships taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Adaptability: Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment. Quality Orientation: Originating action to improve existing work processes and conditions for improved quality of outputs. Work Standards: Setting high standards of performance for self and others self imposing standards of excellence. Salary dependant on skills and experience.
