Urgently Seeking an Area Activity Manager for the KZN Region to manage & motivate banking sales Consultants within the field The successful candidate must have the following: Matric Clear Criminal Record Own Transport / Car Valid drivers License Clear Credit Pref Tertiary education advantage Minimum 1 yr exp in a management role / Financial banking industry advantage Activity Manager Activity Management of all sales consultants in the KZN area / Region is split in 2 Report to Management on area and management of the area. Daily management of sales and activity and increase thereof Ensure that all Sales Consultants reach daily weekly monthly targets Ensure all Daily stats are received by staff and check Integrity of these stats Liaison with all Clients Staff & Management Rollout of new staff within the branches Assist staff with training and all requirements needed to complete daily weekly monthly tasks Handling of all disciplinary hearings disciplinary conduct with staff Ensure all daily stats are received from Consultants and forwarded to the relevant Management concerns on a daily basis Maintenance of relationships with various Branch Managers in the Branches Attendance of all Management meetings with Directors Managers and Activity Managers of client Assist with the hiring of new staff when necessary All ad hoc correspondence Competencies Required: Customer Focus / Client Maintenance Customer Loyalty Adaptability Aligning Performance for Success Quality Orientation Innovation Energy Formal Presentation Follow up Managing Work (incl. Data/Business Intelligence Manager (Midrand) (EE) Highly negotiable. The main purpose of the job will be to define and implement the data management strategy across the business areas to drive better customer experience. This includes data management goals standards practices process and technologies. Client requires 5-8 years in data management 2yr leadership/management/supervisory experience Experience in implementing data quality programmes. Siebel experience will be advantageous. Education 3yr Degree/diploma in Computer Science Engineering or Informatics - essential Post graduate qualification in related field - advantageous CDMP certification advantageous Knowledge: Data Governance Data Architecture Management Data Quality Management Meta Data Management (MDM) Process and Tools Document and Content Management BI and Data Warehouse Reference Data Management Data Security Management Logical Data Modelling Project/Programme Management Microsoft Office SDLC Business Process TF Forum Frameworks (specifically eTOM and SID) Customer Facing Applications such as CRM POS Billing Online Store Job Objectives: Data Governance: Define Data Management Strategy to drive a better customer experience through accurate and enriched business data Define implement and sustain processes of authority and control (planning monitoring and enforcement) over the management of the business definitions and rules specifically as required for data impacting on customer experience Setup and run Data Governance and Data Steward council meetings Manage outcomes from Data Governance and Data Steward council meetings Interface with Business Data Stewards for any Data Governance issues Ensuring that data definitions are applied consistently and resolve conflicting data definitions and communicate resolution Communicating to the Data Stewards and business users the agreed policies and practices that govern data in accordance to the data management strategy Communicating any changes to business rules and definitions to all relevant stakeholders Meta Data Management: Develop processes and policies for the establishment and maintenance of data definitions and business rules as they pertain to customer data and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders and update the Metadata Hub. Ownership version control etc. Co-ordinate and maintain business metadata i.e. definitions business rules and naming conventions this includes the administration of metadata repository. Data Quality: Do regular data quality audits to ensure that customer data quality is maintained Investigate reasons for poor data quality in systems affecting customer experience Implement process and system changes to ensure better data quality Drive business adoption of changes in process and system Prepare data quality reports for transformation projects Prepare action plans to drive better data quality to assist in delivery of transformation projects Give input to data migration plan on transformation projects Team Leadership: Manage team of Data Governance Specialists Manage virtual Data Steward Team Identify training requirements for Data Stewards Building effective professional relationships (both for him/herself and the team) and establishing the team s credibility with business partners Managing expectations (of team and customers alike) and keeping commitments or promises. Proactively support stakeholders look for extra activities to help the team
