HR Manager required for a large mining operation in Kriel. Only South African citizens who are suitably qualified live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy. The successful incumbent would be required to have working knowledge of HR Management systems and procedures and all South African Labour Legislation. The main duties of the incumbent would include but not be limited to executing the Business Unit HR Strategy in line with the Organisational Strategy and thereby ensuring the successful execution of Key HR Deliverables . Must have excellent communication interpersonal and decision making skills. Requirements: Matric/ Grade 12 certificate Must have a tertiary qualification in Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Human Resource Manager Mining Industry knowledge will be an advantage but not necessary Fully computer literate on Microsoft Office Valid drivers license and own vehicle Management of all HR functions ; training and development recruitment administration labour relations etc Knowledge and understanding of HR Legislation BCEA SDL BEE LRA EE WSP ATR Experience of representing your employer at the CCMA Maintenanc e of regional Employee Representative structures and Unions Manages all administrative aspects of the entire employee life cycle from recruitment through development and to termination Accurate management of all HR Administration functions such as minutes warnings investigations leave casual wages etc Knowledge and understanding of Payroll administration Knowledge and understanding of Union Matters Negotiations Knowledge and understanding of skills development planning Ensures adherence to all human resources management policies and procedures of the Company Develop an HR strategic plan in support of the Business plan Manage the implementation of appropriate disciplinary and grievance procedures to promote co-operation and workplace harmony consistency and fairness Focus on staff welfare and succession planning to minimise staff turnover Fluent in Afrikaans English and a third language would be an advantage Excellent planning organizing and controlling skills and proven ability to meet all deadlines Applicants must reside in the Kriel or surrounding area or be willing to relocate.
