Pinagare Human Capital Specialists Transport Controller Logistics Transport Controller (Logistics) - Kusile Project Limited Duration Project Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the position of Transport Controller (Logistics) for the Kusile Project reporting to the Materials Management Manager. The project entails the building of 6 x 780 MW Coal Fired Super Critical Boiler for the coal fired Kusile Power Station to be erected at the Kusile Site at Witbank Mpumalanga South Africa. The purpose of the role is to Oversee and be responsible to Crane activities on the Kusile site. Preference will be given to suitably qualified EE candidates. The successful candidate s responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Responsible for and management of the delivery process to the Boiler Pad and Pre-Assembly Area s. Responsible for implementation and maintenance of a professional and effective Staging and/or Transport Yard. Responsible for the management and control of the Site Trailer and Tractors and SPMT s. Ensure optimal utilization of the site transport vehicles. Ensure all drivers / Operators comply with MRP safety standards. Escort deliveries to Boiler Pad and Pre-Assembly Area s. Allocating equipment based on priority for delivery. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Ensure quality resource planning. Setting monthly /weekly/daily production targets. Communicates clearly the outcomes required based on agreed upon targets. Ensure that disruption is minimized and that quality standards are achieved. Ensure that safety standards are adhered too and that risks are managed appropriately. Ensure that productivity is achieved throughout. Daily weekly and monthly planning. Suitable candidates must have the following work experience: Relevant experience in the transport and logistics environment Supervisory experience managing Drivers / Operators Knowledge of Transport Planning functions and processes. Load Planning (Size and Weight) Trailer Capacity Suitable candidates must possess a combination of the following minimum qualifications and skills: Grade 12 Logistics / Transport qualification will be an added advantage ATTRIBUTES: Team player Be proactive Have sound judgment Good Communication Skills Work unsupervised Good Time keeping and work ethic Be fully conversant in English and one other native South African language Computer Literate Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver s license code EB Closing Date 8 March 2013. Pinagare Human Capital Specialists Inspector Receiving and Calibration Inspector Receiving and Calibration - Witbank Region Limited Duration Contract Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the position of Inspector Receiving & Calibration for the Kusile Project reporting to the QC Manager. The project entails the building of 6 x 780 MW Coal Fired Super Critical Boiler for the coal fired Kusile Power Station to be erected at the Kusile Site at Witbank Mpumalanga South Africa. Preference will be given to suitably qualified EE candidates The purpose of the role is to specifically the Receiving and Calibration Inspector will inspect material and equipment on receipt and be responsible for the calibration of measuring equipment and update recalibration certificates as and when required. The successful candidate s responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Plan and perform receipt and calibration inspections Ensure inspections are carried out to I&TP s and procedures Evaluate the validity and acceptability of all purchased/client free issue material as per specification. Ensure inspection records are maintained Perform inspection in accordance with procedures and industry practice Be familiar with inspection tools and equipment and proficient in their use Ensure condition and calibration status of measuring equipment Ensure proper reporting of inspections to defined acceptance criteria Ensure timely and progressive compilation of quality dossier/data books Report non-conformance and notify the Quality Control Manager of any serious or urgent quality problems and/or deviations from specifications or Contract Key Performance Indicators: Perform inspection at control points specified on Suppliers Quality Control Plans to verify product conformance to purchase order and contract requirements. Report objectively and accurately on inspection findings. Interface with project team members and Client representatives. Suitable candidates must have the following work experience: 5 (Five) years QC inspection experience in fabrication / construction of power petrochemical mining or process plant. Extensive experience in receipt of materials to various EN and AWS codes and specifications including verification of the relevant certificates purchase orders and delivery notes. Extensive experience in various calibration methods for all construction/measuring equipment to SABS specifications. Suitable candidates must possess a combination of the following minimum qualifications and skills: SAIW Level I Welding Inspector or equivalent as a minimum Closing Date 8 March 2013.
