An established company seeks a SAP Master Data Analyst. To ensure the maintenance of accurate master data in the SAP system across the business. Responsibilities: Assure the integrity of master data by checking and validating it on a continual basis. Ensure accuracy completeness timeliness and management of product master data collection through direct communication with customers principals and suppliers. Implement and maintain the standards for master data collection to ensure that documentation is completed accurately with information required to create the product master. Maintain relationships with all stakeholders utilising master data within the broader information management system. Collaborate with business owners to further develop and publish master data rules processes and systems to support the product master and ensure integrity of information in the system. Ensure compliance with business standards and procedures as approved by the Company and work to continuously improve data standards quality repositories and processes that include original input change functions auditing and cleansing. Establish enforce and coordinate the execution of workflow procedures to bring about timely and accurate population of master data elements. Ensure that data and information required for the operational management of the business is readily available trusted and consistently accurate. Work with management across the Business to define and establish the overall management approach to data clean-up maintenance and quality control processes. Maintain the SAP business database including additions deletions corrections and cleansing. Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems processes and standards. Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality. Primary purpose of the position Arrange effective & cost efficient transport of cargo for clients. Key Performance Area 1. Source Hauler 2. Transport Planning 3. Handle Transshipment Plan cargo transportation (overland & feeder) according to client s requirements & liaise with Customer Services if necessary. Update Customer Services Clients Depots & other involved parties of any external factors/ issues affecting transport. Track cargo to final destination to ensure prompt delivery. Evaluate performance of feeder & terminal service suppliers. Ensure that the Port Authorities have the required documents for transshipments on arriving vessels. Send transshipment booking forecasts to the Vessel Operator. Ensure the Loading/ Discharge list is up-to-date. Ensure that the client s transshipment container/s is discharged & unloaded from the vessel. Capture the cargo dues for the unloaded container/s. Produce the cargo export dues to SARS. Inform the import team of the unloaded transshipment. Update clients to ensure aware of location of cargo at all times. Look at all available locations & ensure that each location has been zoned for rating. Conduct research to determine most feasible rates for any new locations. Update the database when new locations become available & when rates are changed. Meet with the Operations Director & Operations Manager to review the standard rates for all zones. Identify and record root cause of deviations of job estimates cost to actual costs. Track and ensure all jobs despatched are invoiced within the same month Issues inks and consumables to jobs once completely delivered Ensures quotes and CFS specifications are updated if adjustments are made with the approval of the Customer.
