We have up to 120 for dinner and 240 for receptions, with 11 bedrooms offering Bed and Breakfast. The role involves: Taking care of guests during their stay Taking reservations by phone, e-mail and in person Dealing with enquiries Updating online distribution channels Performing check in and check out procedures Routine check of the building during the night Assisting housekeeping team with breakfast Ideal candidate would be a happy person to join our happy team and with some customer service experience. Role involves 6 days per week and is shift based. All training will be provided. Start asap. JOB DESCRIPTION: Sukuma Sakhe seeks an Intern: Receptionist to provide secretarial, clerical and administrative support in order to ensure that the general aspects of the office operate in an effective and efficient manner. REPORTING TO: This selected candidate will report to the CEO. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide office support services in order to ensure the efficient and effective running of the organisation: Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages; Direct visitors to the appropriate staff member; Pick up and deliver mail; Open and date stamp all general correspondence; Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence; Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls; Undertake the coordination of all travel arrangements; Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies; Respond to public inquiries, and escalate where necessary; Provide word-processing and secretarial support 2.
