No.: 14313/01 This post requires a dedicated and highly motivated person who has recently obtained a three-year Tertiary qualification to participate in an internship programme that seeks to capacitate recent graduates for a career in Local Government Finance. This internship is an initiative of National Treasury. The objective is to help build sufficient, strategic management capacity at Local Government level. The successful candidate will be exposed to different facets within these two (2) years. It must be noted that at the conclusion of the internship contract period, the Municipality is not obligated to extend the contract period or to offer permanent employment. Work closely with class reps Ensuring the institution experience is memorable Overseeing quality control and leadership of programme team Registration of students Contract with faculty and ensure that they delivery performance standards in accordance with the contract Liaising with faculty in respect of course outlines, pre readings and payment to them Set budgets and manage costs for programmes in line with budgets Building course packs and arranging printing and distribution Inviting and liaising with top level guest speakers May be responsible for global elective, and other modules Manage logistics around class venues, equipment, class layout and experiential learning / social activities Facilitate open evenings, graduation, class events, concluding module Managing stakeholders (mentors, advisors, benefactors) by initiating and maintaining relationships with those parties, both internal and external, who have a vested interest in a the success of the programme Manage the examination process, including publication of results and liaison with administration to ensure that marks are captured into the System Analysis of end of module evaluations Assisting with admissions processing and student selection decisions Managing all general administration relating to the delivery of the MBA Programme.
