Our client is the world s premier consumer healthcare company and the fifth largest consumer company globally. Their consumer division includes a broad range of consumer health and personal care products in the beauty oral care OTC medicines and nutritionals categories. Their leading brands are trusted by healthcare professionals around the world. They are looking for a Process Engineer to lead and manage optimization activities related to current and new equipment in relation to process function and compliance (Quality EHS and Engineering) within the solids and liquids value streams. Duties / Responsibilities: Leads and manages personnel within the process/production engineering value stream in line with the company s code of conduct and compliance requirements. Leads and delivers on actions related to regional optimization projects in relation to validation requirements compliance standards and user requirement specifications (Zero Defect Make to Win etc) within the solids and liquids value streams. Supports root cause investigations in relation to inefficient processes unplanned downtime and excessive waste in line with equipment and implement corrective/preventative actions accordingly. Assess and optimize equipment and equipment related processes in both the solids and liquids value streams to ensure that they run efficiently effectively and safely. Lead and support where necessary equipment supplier service level agreements and equipment vendor relations in order to meet the departmental goals and requirements. Ensure that Engineering SOP s for production value streams are updated and accurate. Ensure that maintenance schedules are relevant and accurate and updated accordingly. Lead validation activities in terms of Facility and Equipment with respect to validation protocols installation and operational qualification. Support value stream leads in ensuring that EHS QA and HR compliance requirements are complied with. Responsible in terms of OHS act and regulations to ensure that all manufacturing equipment ( new and existing) meet requirements and are maintained to these standards. Qualifications / Experience / Requirements: Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent with experience ( 10 years) Managerial qualification/experience Projects/Continuous Improvement /Maintenance management experience and skills Lean/Six Sigma experience will be advantageous
