Take daily samples of the process fluids for analysis at the site lab for testing and amalysis Do own analytical analysis of plant fluids in the field and report values. Do daily plant readings of all field instrumentation. Take action to ensure that the plant runs smoothly and continuously. Check production equipment (Pumps valves motors filters turbine train etc.) continuously while conducting physical plant inspections and report on plant status. Respond to orders given by the Process supervisor. Being on the lookout for plant and equipment problems before they become serious which could involve a great cost to the company. Responsible for loading product: Responsible for ensuring that loading operators conduct their tasks in line with loading requirements taking into account safety and efficiency. Ensuring that all safety and health requirements are met in the chemical plants. Conduct necessary checks on staff to ensure that appropriate PPE is used Communicates with plant safety rep. Issuing of clearances to the maintenance staff. Ensures the safety of the maintenance staff during work being done by ensuring the safety of the maintenance environment. Alerts maintenance staff to danger areas in the plant. Being tentative to the maintenance staff and operators while they conduct work. Assist staff when they encounter work problems. Give advice and assist doctors in matters relating to dosages and prescriptions to the patient Monitor and analyse the health of the patient with respect to the drugs that have been given to the patient Answer queries about probable side effects and benefits of the drug therapy Seek immediate help from the doctor in cases where the drug shows some side effects on the patient Recommend drugs to visitors with minor ailments Advise and help patients about stress management diet and exercise Advise about medications Assist doctors with medical billings and paper work of medical insurance Supervise the medicine store and take proper care of the medicines Education of pharmacist s assistants in all matters relating to medicines in both curative and preventative roles Participating in a system of community education and information regarding medicines and basic health care Ensuring that dispensary stocks and materials are available at all times (ordering of scheduled medication) Planning and co-ordinating the workflow in the dispensary so as to ensure a prompt and efficient service to the clients/patients To keep the dispensary neat clean and uncluttered The correct filing and other administrative procedures including the balancing of the Schedule 6 register Pharmaceutical care Clinic tests and family planning Participate in any CPD courses/lectures as assigned by dispensary manager Action any reasonable request pertaining to the business of the pharmacy Take responsibility for the pharmacy in the absence of the pharmacy manager Participate in start of Day and day end procedures Re concile co payment and levy collections Strict compliance with the requirements pertaining to the various medical aids Knowledge of and adherence to all ethical rules and related legislation pertaining to pharmacy Education of pharmacist s assistants in all matters relating to medicines in both curative and preventative roles Only SA Citizens need apply!! or to apply for this vacancy.
