Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Law (LLB) At least five years post admission experience. Admitted attorney 5 years plus experience in a corporate legal environment with experience of providing legal advice at Board/Senior Management level drafting and reviewing commercial contracts applying principles and instruments of Mining and commercial law. PQE in commercial law and extensive knowledge of MPRDA specifically sec 11 and sec 54. Valid Driver s Licence Objective of Position To provide effective efficient legal services to the entire organisation which comprises of a group of companies. To institute and manage legal proceedings for and on behalf the group of companies keeping in mind Legislative and Legal compliance to ensure the group of companies achieves its strategic objectives. Job Specification Review the arrangements for outsourced legal advice identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improvements Writes legal opinions on issues of major significance to the company and/or its subsidiaries Performs research and analysis required to solve highly complex legal issues Provides direction and supervision to subordinate staff and may serve as advisor to one or more principal business units or subsidiary companies Maintain records and prepares reports related to the work Ensure that all governance and compliance issued are adhered to within the organization Maintain and update company s contracts and advice on any legal issues arising from these Assist with ensuring that company meets applicable statutory and regulatory responsibilities Ensure that all contracts entered into within the organization are legally sound and protect the organization from a legal perspective Draft/review commercial contracts and formal agreements with suppliers and customers Manage our relationship with specialist external legal firms and practitioners as required Regular reporting on project issues Ensure that any risks to the organization are raised within appropriate time frames and corrective action is taken Please email cvs to : email email or email email or to apply for this vacancy. Overview: Coordinate the dispatch of materials and equipment to site in terms of the order terms and conditions and project plan liaising with suppliers to ensure the quality requirements are met documentation is received in terms of contracts and that delivery is carried out on time.
