Job Advert Overview Our Client is a specialist financial services company The BA works alongside the IT Business Partner supporting an area of the business and its related IT products/ solutions. At times the Business Analyst (BA) may act as a Proxy for the IT Business Partner. Whilst the IT Business Partner has more of a helicopter view of what is happening the BA gets into the details of the project/ enhancements breaking down the project/ enhancement into user stories and where necessary specifying non-functional and reporting requirements. The BA gathers captures documents and communicates information from Subject Matter Experts (SME) to the rest of the team responsible for constructing the solution. The BA documents all required artefacts. When the Development Team are working on user stories that have been written by the Business Analyst the Business Analyst will work within the development team to answer any questions and to ensure that what is developed meets the requirements of the business.
