A leading financial investment organisation seeks to employ a Domain Leader (Networks and Communication) to manage and oversee IT technical network operations to the companys commercial and non-commercial clients as well as the companys staff. Requirements EE candidate Proven track record of managing and administering remote end-users (Active Directory and Exchange) Proven track record of managing vendors and suppliers Occasional after-hours work Able to be on after-hours standby Able to travel Able to work under pressure and on several technologies Qualifications BSc in IT related field advantageous CCNP/CCIP MCITP advantageous Experience At least 5 years of leading a team of more than 3 skilled technical staff Client liaison and engagement experience 5 years Advanced Cisco Networking Routing protocols HP Procurve LAN switching config advantageous NetApp experience advantageous Knowledge Managing and/or coordinating IT teams ITILv3 Storage and Backup Technologies Cisco Routing TCP/IP v4 (v6 advantageous) Responsibilities Respond promptly to IT requests and outages that affect the company / clients Network Design: WAN & LAN (Cisco HP) Escalation point for technical network issues Participate in regular operational and SLA meetings with Commercial Clients Liaise directly with customers vendors suppliers business users and change management Budget management for operations related to networking (e.g. internet) and communications (e.g. telephony) Coordinate Networks & Communication Team Ensure that customer expectations are met Drive service excellence in coordination with ITIL best practices Weekly and monthly reporting Feedback to stakeholders and management Identify business opportunities Process improvement Skills: At least 5 years of leading a team of more than 3 technical staff Qualifications: BSc in IT related field (advantageous) CCNP/CCIP or to apply for this vacancy.
