Music Usage Manager

Reports to the General Manager: Operations. The purpose of the role is to plan coordinate and direct a robust music usage list capture control system by encompassing excellent planning and data capture standards to ensure accurate and on-time royalty distributions to members. Goals: Ensures complete music usage lists are received on time. Control and coordination of tasks arising from the receipt of music usage lists and capture activities. Ensures music usage list data is captured in time for distributions. Ensures accuracy of music usage lists and capture. The preparation of daily weekly monthly / quarterly & annual statistics. Minimum requirements: A BComm or Business Science degree from an accredited university or a similar qualification. 2 - 5 years management experience. A methodical and systematic approach to data capturing control and a passion for quality. An ability to deal with complexity and analyse information to establish the quality of the underlying data. Attention to detail and an emphasis on excellence. An ability to interface with all levels of the organization responding in a professional and clear manner. Technical aptitude (i.e. able to read and comprehend technical documentation ability to comprehend and execute procedures a demonstrated understanding of the system and its documentation). Strong communication skills and a strong working knowledge of the English language (oral and written). A background in royalty administration would be an advantage. Project management experience would be an advantage.
