Main Purpose of Role The purpose of the role is to ensure the support function in Africa is managed effectively introducing best practises and streamlining current processes. Experience and Knowledge CA (SA) Ten years working experience in a relevant role ( eg Audit partner in an accounting firm in private equity; COO out of a Private Equity firm ;COO out of an equities division of a bank /asset management etc) Knowledge of Africa would be useful but not essential Key Main Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive) Overall responsibility for finance transaction support and the support functions in Africa. Responsible for fund administration for Africa particularly including optimal use of funds (gross to net) liaison with limited partners advisory boards and investee companies. Fund valuation Overall responsible for Private Equity Africa budget and re-forecasting quarterly reports and analysis. Monitor and review portfolio company performance as well as portfolio construction and monitoring of fund exposure. Overall responsibility for fund reporting and investment reviews Ensuring compliance for all legal documentation Point man for the Investor development team who are based in London and also manage the liaison with the investors.
