Seeking for DISABLED candidates! JOB PURPOSE: To assist in managing the procurement contract process in compliance with standard procedures and relevant regulations so that there is effective and efficient delivery of contracts in terms of both time and quality To administer contracts after contract award ensuring the cost-effective execution of contracts and the commercial integrity of contracts QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE: Unless the applicant can demonstrate that he/she has gained the necessary competencies through experience a relevant Business/Commercial Diploma or Degree is required 3-5 years experience in procurement contracts management contract administration and commercial evaluation in a multidiscipline project environment Project Management in line with PMP requirements KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure that ATP (Advice To Procurement) has been properly completed is accompanied by all necessary documentation and is correctly authorized Prepare tender documents in accordance with the details contained in the ATP documentation Where required ensure that tender documents comply with the company procedures the tender conditions of the CIDB and NEC3 conditions of contract Circulate the tender pack and ensure that it is signed off by all relevant parties including Project Management QS Engineering and any other discipline involved in the procurement process Ensure timeous placement of tender adverts in accordance with tender strategy either through CIBD portal or through direct contact with approved contractors Arrange the tender clarification / site inspection meeting provide tenderers with tender documentation take minutes when required and complete register of all tenderers Oversee that tender boxes are cleared according to the rules and that tenders are properly recorded and distributed Undertake the commercial evaluation of each tender including checking for compliance with deliverable requirements supply of VAT and SARS certificates CIBD registration check BBBEE accreditation etc. Collate and compile the submissions that form part of the TEAR (Tender Evaluation Adjudication and Recommendation Report) and ensure timeous submission to the secretariat of the relevant acquisition council Compile the contract document ensuring that it complies with best practice principles and that Principal Controlled Insurance is in place for each contract Ensure that all tender and Contract data is timeously and correctly captured and kept updated in SAP and Primavera Undertake regular interaction with clients to ensure a professional service is delivered and that queries are timeously and satisfactorily resolved Conduct contractual evaluation of contracts as and when required and provide advice and clarification to Programme / Project managers on resolving contractual issues Administer the contract once awarded this included typically attending progress meetings contract registers progress payment assessment and management of change final accounts and closing out of contracts Ensure that suppliers and service providers comply with contractual terms and conditions in the conduct of their work and delivery of projects Reconcile costs on contracts and check payments against contract payment schedules Negotiate contract amendments with contractors and ensure that best value is obtained for the company Ensure compliance with all requirements of the Project Execution Plans (PEP) and with the company Detailed Procurement Procedures (DPP) SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Interpersonal; Computer literacy (MS office package); Negotiation and facilitation skills; Integrity and teamwork; Building and maintaining stakeholder relationship; Resource management; Time management-able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Planning and organizing; Verbal and written communications; Presentation skills Contact: AtripleA Recruitment www.aaaa.co.za ferdi aaaa.co.za
