The main purpose of the job is: To manage facilitate and drive performance improvements in the Dealer Network measured through customer satisfaction and profitability using commercial reviews and the sharing of best practices. Reporting: This position will report to the General Manager Retail Development. Job Objectives: Strategic: T o establish and develop a dealer network according to customer and industry requirements which is profitable and representative of the brand whilst enabling to achieve its required market share. To assist in compiling a dealer strategy to ensure adequate representation in the market. To develop a business viability model for dealers to ensure sustainable dealer viability. Operational: To identify dealer development needs in order to ensure optimal Dealer performance. Identify new opportunities in order to ensure representation in Commercial Market. To deliver the agreed and committed overall objectives for Operational Development to ensure the Business Plan is met. To set appropriate objectives initiate actions monitor performance and follow-up on results within the Dealer network. To develop and implement strategies actions and tools such as Guiding Objectives Concept Dealer etc. and communicate these timeously to the network and manage the measurement process. To recommend the optimal dealer set up (Concept dealer) including organisational structure within the Dealer. To direct and manage Retail Commercial Reviews both at Truck Centers and Dealers. To implement projects and plans within the Dealer network to ensure they achieve its required market share. A ctively contribute to sharing of best practice between functions within the Dealer Network. To be responsible and manage Retail Management Processes. To manage and execute Customer Satisfaction Index presentations and follow-up. As CRM business owner manage and coach to develop the CRM process. To improve usage and effectiveness of the process. To manage the responsibility as portals business as well as RAT business owner. Customer Focus: Build and maintain constructive relationships with the relevant stakeholders within company and the dealer network to further facilitate service delivery to the network and Sales Operations Department. Staff focus: To promote the ongoing development and enhancement of subordinates skills and potential in order to achieve levels of competence as well as exceed personal performance excellence Education: B degree in Business Management Job Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as manager within the commercial retail business Job Knowledge: Truck industry knowledge Financial management Dealer operational knowledge Job Related Skills: Coaching skill Excellent Verbal / Written communications Planning / Organisational skills Management and Leadership skills Negotiation skills Project management skills Able to demonstrate global mind-set.
