Employer: Full Circle Consulting & Trading (Pty) Ltd Our client seeks to permanently employ the services of a Security Developer tol analyse, design and configure sub-processes and/or analyse, design, build and operate technology to support the business in running its operations and meeting its strategic IT objectives.; RESPONSIBILITIES:; The Security Developer performs role build activities for the SAP production and non-production environments. The role holder must remain familiar with business conditions including prevailing laws, organisational culture and management style, and has the following principal responsibilities:; -Design and build security authorisations according to the Authorisations Strategy, including an adherence to Internal Financial Controls requirements. ; -Assisting the various teams (i.e., Development, testing, project, etc) in implementing and maintaining the defined security standards for applications; -Assisting the various teams (i.e., Development, testing, project, etc) in reviewing, testing and deploying security controls on all applications so as to ensure compliance with the defined security standards; -Enforcing, monitoring and reporting to the Information Security Officer on the security status of applications, in accordance with established policies and standards; -Evaluate and implement recommendations made by the Security Development team.; -Provide Knowledge Transfer (KT) to the following affected parties on new security roles:; Other Security Development team members: User Administrators; -Assist in the investigation and resolution of IT security incidents that occur within the IT systems landscape.; -Assist in the review of proposals to significantly enhance or modify the configuration, security notes, support packs, parameters or functionality of applications within the IT systems landscape.; -Create Standard operating procedures to assist User Management in the support of critical areas in the Production and non-Production SAP Systems; -Transfer knowledge to project and support resources relating to security processes including access management, GRC and IDM; -Assist Internal Financial Controls in the technical definition and update of the SAP GRC ruleset, which covers: Segregation of Duties (SODs); and Sensitive Access.; -Perform cutover security activities during go-lives.; -Assist in first-line support during go-lives if required.; Candidate Requirements KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:; Degree in business administration or a technology related field, or equivalent work or education related experience.; Professional security or controls-related certification, such as CISA, CISM, CGEIT or CRISC would be beneficial.; In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP-based security.; Knowledge of specialist SAP security areas would be beneficial, e.g.:; -BI and Business Objects, including version (HANA, pre-HANA); -CRM Business Roles and its security impact; -HR Structural Authorisations; and -Portal security management.; Knowledge of GRC Risk management, such as Segregation of Duties and Sensitive Access reviews, would be beneficial.; Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server would be beneficial.; Proficiency with personal computers, experience with productivity software, such as Windows, Microsoft Office software and so forth essential.; POSITION: Permanent role with market related remuneration package.; COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible.; Only South African Citizens may be considered for this position.; Please forward a detailed CV, copies of last two payslips, SA ID, Matric Certificate, Degree/Diploma or Certificates and full academic transcripts.; N.B: If you have not received a response from us within 14 days please consider your application for this role unsuccessful. RESPONSIBILITIES:; Designing and implementing application security solutions for defined business needs within the respective functional applications area; Preparing and periodically updating draft information security policies, architectures, standards and / or other technical requirement documents needed to advance application security; Participating in and acting as a technical leader in, periodic information systems risk assessments including those associated with the development of new or significantly enhanced application components; Designing and implementing the applicable controls to mitigate the risks identified during the risk assessment for approved applications; Ensuring cohesion and integration with application security design across regional and global systems; Assisting the various teams (i.e., Development, testing, project, etc) in implementing and maintaining the defined security standards for applications; Assisting the various teams (i.e., Development, testing, project, etc) in reviewing, testing and deploying application security controls on all applications so as to ensure compliance with the defined security standards; Interpreting information security policies, standards, procedures and other requirements and assisting user department staff and technical teams in the implementation of these and other application security requirements; Identifying and recommending the use of relevant security technologies and tools to the Solution Delivery Manager -Security and the company Information Security Officer and co-ordinating the implementation responsibilities both internally and with third parties following approval; Providing in-depth technical advice for investigations of information security incidents concerning applications including internal frauds, hacker break-ins and system outages; Assisting with the documentation of application related information security incidents as well as the analysis of the circumstances enabling or permitting these same incidents to take place and implementing necessary counter measures as required; Acting as a technical information security reviewer of requirements statements, feasibility analyses, operating procedure manuals, and other documents produced during the system implementation / development process; Providing special technical guidance to the Strategy and Architecture Department staff about the risks and control measures associated with new and emerging information system technologies; Acting as a technical resource to users, user department management and others within the company who are seeking more information about application security; Providing technical advice to those who install, administer and update computer based access control systems; Guiding developers, users and other internal staff (through projects) in establishing and maintaining application security controls / requirements; Staying informed about the latest developments in the information security field, including new products and services, through on-line news services, technical magazines, professional associations, industry conferences, training seminars and other sources so as to determine which of these developments should be adopted by or tested by the company; Participating as a technical advisor for a variety of ad-hoc information security projects which are dictated by the Project Management Office and technological developments.; Providing input into longer term strategy based on deep knowledge and understanding of technology and business needs; Entrenching knowledge and skills within the team through effective handovers between permanent employees and contractors (and vice versa) knowledge repository; and Ensure solutions are unit tested according to test cases, plans and strategies;
