Our client in the Westrand is looking for a Senior IT Engineer with the following experience to assume the position of CIO: 1) Understand and have the necessary experience to design and deploy Microsoft server products including Microsoft Exchange SQL server Windows Server 2012 Active Directory TMG. 2) Understand and have the necessary experience to design and deploy virtualization technologies including technology from VMware and Microsoft. 3) Have a good understanding of Cisco firewalls network and wireless solutions. 4) Assist Technicians in the field with software & connectivity problems. 5) Training the technicians on basic connectivity basic printing & scanning on all machines. 6) Assist customers telephonically in sorting out software related issues. 7) Installation and configuration of complex scanning and printing requirements at customers where required. 8) Install and maintain print management software at clients. (PaperCut PCounter etc) 9) Keep customers current with the latest versions of all supported print management software. 10) Install FM Audit agents at clients and keep existing FM Audit installations up to date. 11) Remediate FM Audit installations where the client has stopped reporting in. 12) Create FM Audit reports for CRO s. 13) Ensure that all data within FM Audit is up to date (Consumables coverage etc). 14) Ensure that FM Audit alerting is configured and functional. 15) Assist the CRO s with customer queries at all times. 16) Create and maintain a repository of frequently asked questions (FAQ) and step by step guides for the CRO s. 17) Provide internal IT services in the office as for small network problems when required i.e. . can t print scan or connect to PC 18) Assist with site audits and due diligence investigations for new and existing clients. 19) Participate in customer workflow assessments with the aim of building solutions to reduce the customers costs. 20) Develop proposals for MPS clients. 21) Provide presales support for MPS products.
