IT Asset Technician & Coordinator

Problems on ACCPAC are resolved with minimum downtime by liaising with service provider ACCPAC Service packs and updates are installed in accordance with stipulated guidelines and communicated to users Relevant settings are configured for VIP and relevant support provided as is required Servers and ADSL routers on sites are installed in accordance with specifications and are tested for functioning Planned downtime for installation and maintenance is implemented at suitable times after hours and users are timeously advised of the down time PC s and laptops are accurately set up giving user appropriate access in accordance with requirements as specified on New User Application Form Software applications are properly installed and tested to ensure effective functioning Users are advised of functionalities of equipment issued to them in accordance with Company procedures User calls are attended to and resolved within the stipulated timeframes as defined in the internal service level agreement User queries are logged with the helpdesk and prioritised in accordance with service level agreements and priority Larger sites are regularly assessed to ensure that IT functions are functioning optimally Ensure that backups on larger sites have been done at stipulated timeframes Errors on servers are updated to identify problems and feedback is provided to Superior within stipulated timeframes Users are created and linked to the server in accordance with company procedures Problems are identified and resolved under the guidance of the supplier

The main tasks responsibilities and Key Performance Areas: Ensure effective planning and execution of all Sage Evolution Business Partner Training Training Material and Assessments Monitor and report on progress of the training Be responsible for quality of the allocated deliverables and timelines Making sure you maintain product mastery and stay abreast of changes in the industry. Offering sound product and business advice Supporting the trainers and business partners Managing deliverables from a variety of staff that may or may not report directly to you Accurate administration of business partner skills and assessment Work within a budget by meeting deliverables both with respect to timelines and quality of work. Face to face or telecom training and meetings as required Ensuring the training division has required knowledge of the Sage Evolution product requirements and that the trainers are skilled to meet the customers requirements when training Maintain knowledge of Sage Evolution To maintain a highly professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards. Maintain a well groomed and business like appearance To be able deliver excellent customer service and accurate information while working in a highly pressurized environment Personal qualities: The successful applicant must display strong presentation skills strong interpersonal and communication skills Critical thinking and problem solving skills The ability to plan and organize effectively Be an excellent communicator across different cultures Have a mature approach to business and service delivery Be adaptable and have a high stress tolerance and have the ability to work under pressure be decisive and achieve deadlines Be driven to achieve deadlines Ability to focus on achieving results and stay focussed despite changing conditions Be proactive multi-task effectively and implement agreed strategies quickly. Have a good eye for detail and be able to work independently.
